The theme of La Fête Fatale no.6 is THE CARNY CULT OF HOOCHIE COOCH

HOOCHIE : \́hüt-c/h́ē \ ~ noun
A female who dresses scantily, sexually, or in a revealing fashion;

COOCH : \́küt-c/h\ ~ noun
slang for vagina; see also koochie, gates of heaven, jaws of hell, princess, beaver, muff, poon, love box, pussy, kitten, yoni, muschi, cooter, cunny, snatch & honey pot. >=D


HOOCHIE COOCH : \́hüt-c/h́ē \ - \küt-c/h\ ~ noun
a kind of erotic, often exotic, performance somewhat like the belly dance, as performed at carnivals, usually (but not always!) by women; aka Burlesque.


CULT : \́kəlt\ ~ noun
great devotion to a person, idea, object, movement, or work; usually a small group of people characterized by such devotion... in our case The Secret Seduction Society, as is dedicated to Beauty, Bizarre, Burlesque & Glamour, etc.

Xarah & Herr Dokter
With their crazy painted faces Die Donnerwetters are some lovely clowns doing a new kind of oldschool sideshow, but they also do very classy 1920s and Rokoko inspired (Fire) Burlesqueshows. Herr Dokter has been a part of the Netherlands scene for a long time, performing over 18 years! He started with freaky grinding shows, fakir elements, and suspension. In the summer of 2009, Xarah & he met each other and they decided to perform together. Xarah has been performing fire and burlesque for over 4 years, and since becoming "Frau Donnerwetter," she has also evolved into a charming sideshow clown. Their shows are very different ~ Beauty + Bizarre indeed!

Darkteaser
Born to a family of dancers and opera singers, and mastered the classical arts, dance and theatre at a very young age, Darkteaser is best known for her heart stopping, jaw dropping, and eye popping burlesque numbers which speak volumes of her passion for Victorian as well as contemporary performance art. Darkteaser pairs painfully beautiful costumes reminiscent of the Ziegfield Follies with dazzling props to create magical and memorable routines. It thus comes as no surprise that this classy lassy with the sassy chassis was voted 21st century pinups burlesque diva 2008. Darkteaser also designs a range of beautiful feather fans used by professionals far and wide. It is perhaps this intimate knowledge that makes her fan dances a cut above the rest. All this talent wrapped up in an elegant and deliciously curvaceous package makes Darkteaser a hit wherever she performs. Simply put, Darkteaser is the jack of all trades and the queen of all hearts.

Get taken on a mystical journey as you marvel at our gorgeous Burlesque Bombshells, (listed above,) laugh at our bizarre characters like Major Obnoxious the loud-mouth pig man and Mitzy Metzger the bloody psycho maid, take part in our quirky comedy game-show with prizes, and win extra special prizes for the best dressed! Especially those that dress like our current theme....

The Secret Seduction Society is... Four talented woman (Marz Star, Lady Lou, Else Edelstahl, & Julietta La Doll,) who together invented and produce Berlin's first regular burlesque event - La Fête Fatale.
